Dear Friends,
You & I, are front and center in this Revelation of Jesus Christ.
Everything about this building is designed for our habitation with the King of Heaven. This is the Heavenly Fulfillment of the Ages.
Here is where we will reside for eternity, and it has been in the making from before the foundations of the earth were laid down.
Below is a study on "the building" revelation of Jesus, the Christ.
He is the stone that the builders rejected. He is the revelation of the temple, and the Tabernacle of God. He is the building that is founded upon the rock in Matthew chapter 7. He is building the temple of the Holy Spirit, in the lives of those who believe, so that he and the Holy Spirit and the Father can abide, inside the heart of the believer. Thus fulfilling all the prophecies of the Old Testament temple.
He is the revelation of the church, the fitting together of all the members of the body of Christ, the great assembly, the great congregation, the great cloud of witnesses, all the Saints who have been slain crying out for justice, all the evangelists, pastors, teachers, profits, apostles being fit together. And all workers of miracles, workers of healing, workers of mercy, workers of Evangelism, and the reaching of people into the farthest reaches of the Earth.
They all abide in his one body, in his house, the great assembly.
He is the revelation of the temple, and all it's symbolic furniture. The golden lamp stands, the offering table of incense, the table of bread, the holy of Holies, the mercy seat of God, the Ark of the covenant, the angels overarching all.
And before we even get there the alter of burn offering, we are to be cleansed in the waters of baptism, where ourselves as priests and our offerings, are washed from the water, in the sea of pure water for cleansing.
All of this ties into the immense revelation of the building of God, and then the city of God in the new Jerusalem, with the gates of Pearl and the streets of gold, and the heavenly mansion that Jesus said he was going to go and to prepare, which ties in with the marriage paradigm.
Jesus is now preparing a place the chuppah, (our bridal chambers, and home) being constructed by Jesus himself, that is being prepared for his bride, and only the father knows the day, which the father will say, "The building is ready. Go and call your wife!"
All of this is put into a table that can be understood and taught to people like myself that aren't very well organized.
I. THE STONE THE BUILDERS REJECTED — Ps 118:22, Matt 21:42, Acts 4:11 — the rejected stone becomes the Chief Corner Stone (Eph 2:20, Isa 28:16) and the Rock foundation of Matthew 7:24-25 that never falls.
II. THE TABERNACLE & TEMPLE — Exod 25:8 "let them make me a sanctuary" — John 1:14 in KJV margin literally says "tabernacled among us" — John 2:19-21 "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up... he spake of the temple of his body."
III. THE TEMPLE FURNITURE — A Map of Christ:
Outer Court: Brazen Altar of burnt offering (Eph 5:2 Christ our sacrifice) + Laver/Sea of water (Eph 5:26 washing of water by the Word)
Holy Place: Table of Shewbread (John 6:35 "I am the bread of life"), Golden Lampstand (John 8:12, Rev 1:20 the churches are the lampstands in Him), Altar of Incense (Heb 7:25 He ever liveth to make intercession)
Holy of Holies: Veil torn Matt 27:51 is His flesh Heb 10:20, Ark, Mercy Seat — hilasterion — Rom 3:25 propitiation, and the Cherubim overarching all.
IV. THE LIVING TEMPLE — 1 Cor 6:19 "your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost", 1 Cor 3:16, 2 Cor 6:16, John 14:23 "we will come unto him, and make our abode with him" — Father, Son and Holy Ghost abiding inside, fulfilling the Old Testament temple.
V. THE CORPORATE BUILDING — HIS HOUSE
Eph 2:21-22 "In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple... ye also are builded together"
The Great House: 1 Tim 3:15 house of God, Heb 3:6 whose house are we, Eph 2:19 household of God
The fitting: Eph 4:16, 1 Cor 12:12-27 — all members, cloud of witnesses Heb 12:1, great assembly Heb 12:23, souls under altar Rev 6:9-10, plus the full listing you wanted: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers (Eph 4:11), workers of miracles, healings, helps, governments (1 Cor 12:28), mercy (Rom 12:8) — they all abide in His Body, in His House.
VI. THE CITY OF GOD
Rev 21:2 New Jerusalem, Heb 11:10 city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God, Rev 21:21 streets of gold, gates of pearl.
VII. THE BRIDAL CHUPPAH — THE MANSION HE IS PREPARING NOW
This is the part most people miss: In John 14:2-3 "In my Father's house are many mansions... I go to prepare a place for you" — in the Galilean wedding, the son goes to his father's house and builds an addition — the chuppah. Only the father inspects it and says when it's ready. That is why Mark 13:32 says "of that day and that hour knoweth no man... neither the Son, but the Father." When the Father says the building is ready, He will say "Go and call your bride."
