From Heaven's Perspective:
Fruitfulness Comes in One of Two Forms,
and from only one of Two Origins:
Heavenly Fruit is Birthed in the Father's Blessing, and comes down from Heaven.
Hellish Fruit is Birthed in Satan's Rebellion, and boils up from Hell below.
This Study is devoted to seeing How we can increase our Heavenly Fruitfulness, and decrease, and ultimately eliminate ALL negative, worldly, man-made, demon inspired worldly fruits, that will hinder our walk with Jesus, and cause confusion, and division in the Body of Christ.
James 3:13-18 (KJV)
13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. 14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. 15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
Our Spiritual Job Description, and our Eternal Vocation, is to be powerful fruit producers, this shows by our produce who we are following, and what Kind of Fruit our Master is giving us to reproduce.
Heavenly Fruit is Pure. So those Walking in the Heavenly Pure Way, (which is in Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the LIFE), they will be reproducing the Fruitfulness of Christ.
But those walking the Hellishly impure way, (the wide road that leads to destruction) they will be reproducing the unrighteous fruit of all those who have rejected Christ's High and Heavenly Way. It won't matter what their words say, for their actions (fruits) will speak louder than their words. And in the End will be evident to all. Many may be deceived in this present hour, that believe their fruits are just fine, but have not yet done a deep dive into this subject, possibly because they don't want to give up some pet sins, and bad fruits.
That's only understandable, but it still is not profitable.
If my right hand is causing me to sin, it would be more profitable to lose my right hand, and enter heaven with one hand, than with two end up in the pit of hell. There's simply no good way to sugar coat it.
You will notice, no one suspected Judas of being a devil, until they all found out that Judas had sold the Man of Heaven, for 30 peices of silver. And sadly, for Judas, the prophecy came true, that it would have been better for him, that he had never been born.
Just for that reason alone, it is exceptionally important that we be diligent and vigilant in our spiritual growth, so we do not fall into the traps, snares, pits, webs, and prisons, created by the Enemies of God, to trip us up, and get us to hate our calling as children of God, bearing witness to Him, confessing Jesus before men, so that Jesus will confess us before His Father.
And we must know that growing up in our salvation is the only way to go ... to God.
Below is a quick primer about Growing up in our Salvation.
Below that is a complete study on How we can become incredibly Fruitful Laborers in our Father's Vineyard.
Key Basic Scriptures on Spiritual Growth: (Below this is an indepth Study)
1 Peter 2:2: "As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:"
This verse compares new believers to infants who naturally crave milk. It establishes God's Word as the nourishment needed to mature spiritually.
2 Peter 3:18: "But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen."
Peter concludes his second epistle by reminding Christians that spiritual progress is an ongoing, lifelong pursuit.
Ephesians 4:14–15: "That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine... But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:"
Paul explains that maturity protects believers from false teachings and unifies the church under Christ.
Hebrews 5:13–14: "For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil."
The writer of Hebrews contrasts basic teachings with deeper spiritual truths, showing that maturity requires active practice.
1 Corinthians 13:11: "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things."
Paul uses human development to illustrate leaving behind immature spiritual behaviors.
Here's a problem we need to deal with: This problem will affect a large portion of modern day church goers.
This is One Way a Believer can get tripped up into to thinking He is Serving God, but in reality he is really Not.
Many are trying to live in a dual citizenship situation.
They serve or worship God on Sunday. But live for the World and the Devil, Monday through Saturday, without really even realizing it.
This kind of Worship is Called being Double-Minded.
It is not a respected or honored practice in heaven. In fact, it is rather condemned. It is the Opposite of Being Heavenly Fruitful. Those who walk in this way are being deceived, deceiving themselves, and deceiving others as well. Such is the Double-Minded. This is a powerful teaching that will set many captives free from personal deception.
