When it comes to
KEEPING JESUS COMMANDS

• The  Flesh wants us to run away from Jesus.

• The Spirit wants us to draw near to Jesus.

Sadly, MR. J, was a teacher:  a mentor, an influencer, and a role model for many, with a brilliant mind (but full of the flesh).

As a result: Mr. J, would take the perfectly blessed mind that God gave him, and use it to betray, resist, rebel, and defy, The Words of Jesus. 

Mr. J would follow the same pathway as MR. D (aka the Devil) down the broad road that leads to destruction.

 The Narrow Road, Mr. J would despise & reject. Like so many today: Mr. J, still claimed to have Faith in God, even in Christ, but chose to disobey and dishonor Jesus' Commandments. And that will not go well for him in the end.

Faith in Unbelief

Is pretty common today. Many pick and choose what they like, and what they don't like, and feel that is ok with God, as long as they still believe in God. They seem to believe the Kingdom of God is like  a smorgasbord,  so they can pick and choose what they like, and throw away what they don't.

But how does that square with the commandment of Jesus? If you love me, keep my Commandments. That's a pretty mold and movable and undeniable clear statement of faith and identity.

There are many kinds of faith. And they all have many kinds of different identities. But only one kind of faith, with one kind of identity is genuinely accepted, honored, and celebrated in the kingdom of God.

What kind of faith is it? You ask? The kind of faith that obey Jesus Commandments. Done deal. End of discussion. Not much need to say anything further.

That is why many are also setting themselves us for a rude awakening. Not realizing that they have a kind of Faith, but not the kind Jesus or the Father are looking for.

Jesus's Kingdom is based on Obedient Faith.

Having Faith in your own Faith. Is exactly what the Devil has, and continues to have, and wants everyone to have, and is exporting that faith at bargain basement prices, on all continents.

Faith in your own Faith, is popular today: in Society, Culture, Arts, Entertainment, Business, every body gets to have their own faith.

Don't Judge me!
That's their Motto. 

Faith in Faith is very insecure, and easily offended.

It will not stand the test of fire and flames, nor the test of persecution, and suffering. It will not survive the test of Storms & Floods-- rising and beating against that House will collapse it, when the storms hit it.

Below is the Closing Statements and Closing Parable in the Sermon on the Mount.

Tell me if you can identify: 

1. Who is having faith in his own faith? (aka. The Faith of Unbelief) 

2. Who is doing it "My Way"?

3. Who is building their house on the Sand?

4. Who is building their house upon the Rock?

You don't have to go far to identify which person is which: just look and the  descriptions of those who  in the above table. And then make your choice: 

Matthew 7:21-29 (KJV) 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. 28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: 29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Closing thoughts:
Today: Too Many still follow MR. J's Faith:

The works & ideas of MR. J, would eventually spread, like bad yeast in, to make a poisonous loaf of bread, they multitudes would feed off of.

Many would take MR. J's Faith, and import it into the Church, into our educational systems, legal systems, political systems, and the like. Much of the Faith of Unbelief, I imagine will be able to trace its roots back to Mr. J, and his #1, Mentor, MR. D (the devil) himself.

According to Jesus' Teaching. 

It would have been better for MR. J, to have hung a mill stone, tightly, around his neck, and plunge himself into the Potomac, on New Years Eve, at Midnight, (the year before he took his scissors to the Bible) . . . Than to lead so many people into a false religion, into a false philosophy, and into the demonic lies that gripped and shaped MR. J's life.

For all his brilliant mind, and gifted writing skills, and political influence has bought him? What?  

Mr. J, has earned himself a place among the hypocrites-- where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth forever and ever.

May God abide in us and produce a harvest of fruit far beyond anything we can think or imagine, simply because he decided to Keep His Commandments, and do them diligently simply as a sign of Gratitude, Respect, Honor, and Love--walking in the Grace of God that overcomes this World, just as our LORD, Jesus Christ showed us, and is still showing us, every step of the way.
