The Call

THE CALL & THE COST:
"So likewise, whosoever he be of you that
forsaketh not all that he hath,
he cannot be my disciple."

THE CALL & THE COST:  are two separate webpages.

They are brother and sister witnesses to the words of Jesus.

Our primary call is to count the cost.

THE CALL primarily captures the scriptures backing, the call to suffer for the name of Jesus--as a result of keeping Jesus Commandments.

THE COST presents the historical testimonies, throughout the last 20 centuries, of those who became living sacrifices as the outcome of keeping Jesus Commandments.
 

They both reflect the reality of receiving and obeying the commandments of Jesus, to take up the cross daily and follow him.

This teaching is to verify that God's word is not just theoretical, but visceral. 

The pains and tortures, and life-threatening dangers that are facing every believer, are Real.
And yet, God giveshis favor for those who are called to endure by Faith, who will overcome through Grace.

In many cases supernatural graces were supplied.

The personal fortitude and the exceptional determination of Jesus followers throughout history is a testimony that they did not love their lives on earth, more than they loved their savior in heaven, and the life that was to come. They counted the cost. They paid the price. They ran the race. I fought the fight. They gave their all just as Jesus did.

They gave up their titles, their possessions, all their earthly valuables, and even their relationships in order to serve God, and endure unto the very end.
