It stands to reason, that "IF" coming to Jesus fully, and completely receiving his magnificent heavenly blessed wedding invitation, had absolutely no risks involved, then absolutely everyone, and his brother, would immediately respond positively. Would they Not?
Heavenly Rewards, with no heavenly commitment, no heavenly growth?
Easy-Peasy. Right?
But unfortunately, that is not how heaven works, nor does God work. God has a work to perform, in us. That work includes our total spiritual transformation, from being flesh motivatived beings, to Spirit motivated and activated beings.
May be that explain: Why? Even from our own highly limited, personal experience, we can see many have not received their Heavenly invitation, with honor & dignity that is commiserate with the nobility & majesty invested into the Invitation.
Worse yet, "the many" have not even tested or investigated the authenticity of the Invitation. They are simply "too busy doing their own thing," so they don't have the time or energy left over to even bother with it.
I can say, I have tested and investigated the Invitation, and have found it to be, as genuine, reliable, and real an invitation, as any I have ever been given, but that still doesn't mean I will be attending the affair. More steps need to be taken in preparation for my Heavenly Visitation.
I can still be dissuaded by family, friends, employers, dreams, illusions, and all kind of earthly tyrants.
Therefore, this has become an issue that can divide families, divide communities, and divide nations.
That is the nature of the beast.
So I'm not going to come here, to play games, and lie to you, that there are not consequences, both positive and negative, that will affect you in your decision to choose to accept the great royal wedding feast invitation.
This is not the time to blow smoke. This is the time to be honest, and real about the many blessings, and curses involved.
Once you make a bona fide decision, there will be heat involved. There will be pushback. There will be doubts. There will be trials. That is inevitable. And unfortunately, unavoidable. What is important? That you see the worthiness of your right decision.
James 1:2-4 (KJV) My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations [encounter trials]; 3 Knowing this, that the trying [testing] of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting [lacking] nothing.
You should know this before you start your journey. Why? Because no matter where you stand, and whose perspective you choose to maintain as your own, at least you can make a creditable decision, not corrupted by false feelings, and false messaging.
At least you want believe the lie, that once you accept your invitation, all your troubles are going to go "bye-bye." Unfortunately, that is not the case when you are called to be transformed in just like the others that have gone before you.
Please tell me, one person, even just one, who had it easy and didn't face trials, that became vital steps that needed to be taken in preparation for their Heavenly Visitation.
I truly not think of one.
Your walk with God is a journey of more that 1,000 miles, but like any journey it must begin by deciding to take your first step, and then, to keep going, no matter what until you reach your destination, that would ultimately make every decision along the way to be worth it.
2 Peter 1:5-9 (KJV) 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity [aka selfless love]. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
We're about to look at one example. One important leader, who made the right decision, to follow Christ'S PATH (the way of the Father and the Son), and walk in the Faith of the Faithful. But he soon realized, with his decision came many strong & demanding real life challenges.
We will quickly learn about his carefully formed character development, through the trials, and the expectations, and the genuine faith responses. We will see that following the King of Heaven, has its up's and its down's. So hopefully we can see the progressive maturing process, and how that comes into play, when one chooses to enter into a full, open, personal, and intimate blood covenant relationship with the king of heaven.
A Blood Covenant Relationship : Is a relationship based on covenant, not on feelings, it holds legal, moral, spiritual, social, and eternal rewards for obedience, and consequences for disobedience--written into the contract. It is equal or even superior in value and in personal demands, as a marriage covenant.
In this kind of covenant, all the resources of one party are made available to the other party, and visa versa. These covenants were formed for the protective nature and value that two leaders could provide for their families and communities, more than they could provide for themselves.
Peoples and families formed blood covenant relationships in order to survive in a very hostile world. Were evil existed and was not held in check by laws or governments that were devoted to protecting individuals, families, and small communities.
The first man, we will see, that will go through 10 tests, in his own personal blood covenant relationship with Almighty God, is the father of all the faithful. His name is Abraham. He is called the friend of God.
The second man, we will see, will also go through 10 tests. His name is Jesus. He is called the Son of God.
"IF" These 10 specific tests have been used to prove the genuineness of these two men. What do you think might happen to us?
The third man, we will want to see go through the 10 tests, is ourselves, our families, our friends, and neighbors. Those who have been refined in the fires of God will be strong, pure, dedicated, developed, disciplined, built up, courageous, and unstoppable. Even though we all started out as lowly sinners. God's Tests, built up our faith, to become something substantial. WE WILL carry the presence, and the fire of God, into our worldly encounters & challenges, and will experience God's direct intervention, and favor as we continue to proceed forward in serving Him. As such we shall be called,
The Chosen of God, and the Bride of Christ.
Here's a quick example of a Blood Covenant Relationship:
1 Kings 22:4-5 (KJV) 4 And he said unto [King] Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go with me to battle to Ramothgilead? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel,
"I am as thou art, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses. 5 And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, "[First] Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the LORD to day."
When we enter into these 10 refining tests, we should have our eyes wide open. We should not be listening to fake preachers, and fake gospel messages, preached by men who they themselves have not gone through the testing and maturing process in Christ.
Jesus himself would identify, and label such men as "hirelings." A hireling is someone who is in it for the benefits, the money, the prestige, the fame & the fortune, but not in it for the highly prized, but also highly priced costly genuine kingdom of God relationship.
Many of these creatures / preachers, even go so far as denying the refining process of coming into the kingdom of God. They deny the calling. They deny the refining. They deny the righteousness. They deny the holiness. They deny the purity. They deny the truth, that Jesus came to change us, to build up within us the kingdom of God. Such men and women have greatly harmed the kingdom of God, and have led many astray.
May You & I not be one of them who has been led astray, nor become one them who preach a fake and blood less, and cost less Gospel.
Shalom,
TPD
PS--What is a Hireling?
John 10:11-14 (KJV) 11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. 12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. 13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
